May Day in Japan by freeter and irregular payroll

People who work side job or part-time job held May Day in Osaka and Tokyo. They began getting together and appealing their serious situation.


At Nagai park in Osaka city, about 100 freeter and homeless got together. They enjoyed
communicating with freemarket and concert. This project was planed by labor union and supporting organization. They appealed by placard written "We want to gain 2000 yen per hour and get paid holiday".


At Kabuki-chou in Tokyo, 420 people and 38 group joined May Day. They displayed various placard written "We want to change my life. We oppose free paid overtime work." and took to the streets dancing with loud melody.


Makoto Kumazawa professor in Konan university says "Many regular payroll suffer from free paid overtime work and young freeter are forced to work very long time with low salary. Young people are devided by argument of self responsibility.
